Week 16: Pre-State Champs Week

Saturday, February 18th
- Bus to ski at North Creek Ski Bowl
- Bus leaves QHS at 8:30 am
- Classic ski workout
- Bus returns to QHS around 12:30 pm

Monday, February 20th
- Backcounty ski into Great Santanoni ADK Camp, Newcomb NY
- Bus leaves QHS at 8 am
- Arrive at trailhead around 9:30 am
- Have backpack with food and liquid and a flannel
- Backcountry ski into Camp: 5 miles in 5 out, easy skiing
- Bus will return to QHS around 2:30 - 3 pm

Tuesday, February 21st
- Practice at QHS at 9 am
- Meet in track shed
- Rollerski or bound

Wednesday, February 22nd
- Bus to ski at North Creek Ski Bowl
- Bus leaves QHS at 8:30 am
- Skate Ski w/double pole

Thursday, February 23rd
- Practice at QHS at 9 am
- Meet in track shed
- Rollerski
- Clean race classic skis and apply moly wax on both classic and skate race skis

Friday, February 24th
- Bus to ski at North Creek Ski Bowl
- Bus leaves QHS at 8:30 am
- Classic ski (on practice skis)
- Bus returns around 12:30 pm

Saturday, February 25th
- Wax skis for skate Meet
- Meet in track shed at TBA

Week 14: Sectional Champs

Monday, February 13th
- Ski at QHS (Sectional racers) and all other invited
- Meet at 3 pm by wax shed
- Skate ski

- Clean kick zones of classic skis for Sectional Race

Tuesday, February 14th
- Meet at 3 pm in wax shed
- Race Information
- Wax classic skis for Section 2 Championships
- Run/ski

Wednesday, February 15th
- Section 2 Championships at North Creek Ski Bowl
- Bus leaves at 7:30 am
- Race Schedule

        Boys: 10:30 am

        Girls:  11:30 am

Thursday, February 16th
- Meet at 3 pm in wax shed
- Collect skis and equipment (from those no longer skiing)
- Run or ski at school (state racers) and anyone else!

Friday, February 17th
- Bus to ski at North Creek Ski Bowl
- Bus leaves at 3 pm
- Skate Ski

Saturday, February 18th
- Bus to ski at North Creek Ski Bowl
- Bus leaves QHS at 3 pm
- Classic ski workout
- Bus returns around 12:30 pm

Week 13

Monday, February 6th
- Bus to Ski at North Creek Ski Bowl
- Bus leaves QHS at 3 pm
- Classic ski workout
- Bus returns to QHS around 6:20 pm

Tuesday, February 7th
- Meet at wax shed at 3 pm
- Skate ski on school fields
- Weight room if available

Wednesday, February 8th
- Bus to ski at North Creek Ski Bowl
- Classic ski mid-distance (possibly will skate, conditions dependent)

Thursday, February 9th
- Skate ski on school fields and wax skate skis for Friday’s relay race
- Meet at 3 pm in wax shed
- Ski groups/wax groups

Friday. February 10th
- Scotia Relays at Crandall Park (Brookhaven Golf course will be the backup venue)
- Bus leaves QHS at 2:15 pm
- Race schedule
3:15 Modified, 4 pm High School Boys followed by Girls

Saturday, February 11th

- Bus to Lapland Lakes Nordic Center

- Course preview for Sectional Championships race

- Bus leaves QHS at 8:30 am

Monday, January 23rd
- School cancelled, no practice

Tuesday, January 24th
- Bus leaves QHS at 3 pm
- Skate ski at North Creek Ski Bowl
- Workout

Wednesday, January 25th
- Meet at 3 pm in track shed
- Classic ski at school

Thursday, January 26th
-Meet in track shed at 3 pm
-Wax classic skis for Friday's race
- Wax groups/skate ski groups

Friday, January 27th
Lake George/Glens Falls Invy at North Creek Ski Bowl. Classic!
- Bus leaves QHS at 12:15 pm, dismissed at 12 noon
- Race Schedule: 2:15 pm - Modified and Beginner High School, 3:00 pm - Varsity Boys immediately followed by Varsity Girls, JV Boys immediately following Varsity girls and JV Girls immediately following JV Boys

- 2:15 pm Modified/Beginner High School - 3:00 pm Varsity Boys followed by Varsity Girls, followed by JV Boys followed by JV Girls

Nordic Week 9

Monday, January 9th
- Practice at North Creek Ski Bow
- Bus leaves QHS at 3 pm
- Skate ski!
- Bus returns to QHS at 6:20 pm

Tuesday, January 10th
- Practice at QHS
- Meet in wax room at 3 pm

    - Boys: Meet in wax room at 3 pm then run 25 minutes, 3:30 pm -  weight room, 4 pm wax skate skis

    - Girls: Meet in wax room at 3 pm then wax skate skis, 3:30 pm - weight room, 4 pm run 25 minutes

Wednesday, January 11th
- Saratoga-Shenendehowa Invitational at North Creek Ski Bowl
- Bus leaves QHS at 12:30 pm

- Race schedule

    - 2:15 pm Modified followed by High school beginner

    - 3:00 pm Varsity Boys followed by Varsity Girls, followed by JV Boys followed by JV Girls
